Leopold competition scope. How to zero turrets

Does anyone have the instructions or have it clear on how to zero the elevation turrets on a Leopold competition scope? I tried it once and was luckily at an indoor range. I ended up taking it right off, then back on.
I would be keen to know the correct process.

Pauly there are quite a few variations out there so not sure they are all the same . Buy mine has a little Allen Wrench screw in the middle of each turret . Just unscrew it , zero it , and tighten back up . I do t ever use it on mine though ...Once I'm zeroed I just put the covers back on .

Ok. Maybe I made it more complicated than it should have been. I might give it another go tomorrow.

You only need to loosen the screw maybe 1/8 turn...no need to go much further than that.
