Leshiy 2 LW premium experimental barrels

What are your thoughts on these new barrels?

Thanks to our partnership with Lothar Walther, we are proud to introduce our WPB barrels for the Leshiy 2. The renowned German barrel maker provided all their expertise which, combined with our inputs and knowledge on the platform and airguns in general, produced these state-of-the-art barrels with polygonal rifling.

Available with or without choke (for most models - check the product description on our site) and in 250-350 and 450mm lengths, we put these barrels in the “experimental” category for you to try them out, and if in 30 days you’re not satisfied, we’ll take them back. We are confident that they will live up to your expectations!

Just got mine today. 450mm .22 cal. After a couple cleaning patches and a few mags of 18 grain AA Field Heavy pellets it shot pretty good. I switched over to Zan Slugs (.219) and after a few more mags groups began to tighten up. I had some fliers and also found out that two of my plastic mags have different velocities. I only got probably less than 100 shots down range including both pellets and slugs. I was running out of daylight and my chrony would start acting up with the sun at a steep angle. The pic is a group shot at 30 yards. I was shooting at the bullseye and the hole I’m pointing to is the flier that dropped a few inches. The reg is at 124 bar, I have the original nozzles in that came with the 350mm .22. Velocity is 890 fps. This group was early on and after a few more mags groups tightened even more with no more fliers. If you look at the other groups at the edge of the pic you can see some tight groups. I’m confident this barrel will shoot.

Wanted to follow up on my last post. I believe I found that after a bunch more shots I found it was the magazine and not the barrel causing the flyers. If it’s a loose fit between slug and magazine the drop off in pressure by air blow by causes a flier. These “fliers” on drop a few inches straight down and happened in mags that seem stretched or worn. I’m using .219 slugs both NSA and Zan, 24 and 22 respectively. I’m using the pellet mags because of the slug dia. being so big. When I used a brand new magazine I had 0 fliers. I also noted before of a velocity drop of at least 20-30 fps when shooting the “worn mags”. I hope this clears the air, on this barrel at least…;)
