Leshiy 2 not indexing

Ensure that this pin is fully seated in the housing. Do this by pushing firmly on the front of the gear face that engages the magazine. If the pin moves forward, it can induce undesired pressure and friction on the magazine. The pin should never be proud of the gear... even when you fully compress the spring.

This helped in figuring out my indexing problem. Tried everything else mentioned and videos with no fix. I took this section apart to familiarize myself in tearing it down and reassembly and didn't reset the pin far enough. This pin was sticking beyond the gear causing tension on magazine. Pressed it after reading this thread and everything cycling great. Thank you

Resurrecting this thread with not a same issue but related to a mag gap to the barrel or backplate let say.
My mag indexing fine, more then three year and over 10 K shots on the original mag and puck.
My problem is a bark that comes from a gap between barrel and a mag... the two entirely parallel when looking against a light with a jewellery lupe, so there is a blow by. There is a slight angle mismatch, the barrel radius top edge is tourching and the low edge has a gap to the mag.
I was hesitating earlier to pull the barrel more out with a concern the friction may slow down the indexing on mag, but ready to improvise in this moment.
Anybody can comment for optimum gap - I can measure with thickness gauge - between the barrel and the mag? and still not effecting the indexing...
I measured with micrometer right now the barrel is sticking out 0.023"=0.57mm. How far more I can pull safely?

After some tinkering with a beer I am sure it will be just faster - and cheaper - I will shim the silver back plate...couple trials until I get the mag perpendicular to barre bore

Edit:
Solved the gap with shimming the silver back plate.

Empty a mag in the garage and the bark is gone. Still the puff from R2D2 but nothing can do there.
