Tuning Leshiy 2 regulator repair

Hello AGN, i recently got my leshiy 2 back from brian after paying him to fix the regulator. According to him the oring in the regulator blew out and he had to drill the regulator cup out from 1mm to 1.5mm. I was wondering if anyone else had had this issue?

I believe the oring failure was secondary, as far as i know from what brian told me, the little ball in the regulator got stuck in its cup.
