Tuning Leshiy 2 REPR reg adjustment. Am I doing it right?

So I’ve adjusted my reg 3 times since I bought it. This has been pretty spread out in the 8-10 months of ownership. First I went from factory (or Brian setup) reg pressure of 135b to 150b to get speeds up to the 850fps I wanted for backyard friendliness. Ifs a .22 with 350mm barrel, and still has the dogbone and collar installed.

so after that, I raised the pressure again to 160b. Within a week, it had come back down to 145b and stayed there consistently. Again I left it because it was shooting just fine.

lastly, 2 days ago, I raised it to 170b. I was playing around with higher velocities to try some slugs. I didn’t get to shoot it after I raised it for a couple days. When I finally did (gauge read 170b before session), it came right back down to 145b for the whole session and didn’t budge.

Did I screw up the reg by not firing it after raising the pressure? Is the reg not functioning properly? Is this a normal part of break in?
on all my other rifles, I’ve never needed to readjust like this after getting to my desired pressure. I know the repr is a completely different animal, but I also know there’s growing pains com8ng with it.
thanks in advance for any help.

Something doesn't sound right there. I've experienced a little bit of settling in my REPR over the first few hundred shots, but only a couple of bar. After that every setting has been solid over an extended period of time and did not require readjustment.

It would say there 'could' be a problem with the REPR, but how many shots have you had through it? Have you given it a chance to settle in?

I would try removing the dog bone and collar. Isn’t the purpose of those for lower reg pressures? You may be fighting yourself by keeping the dogbone installed.

Funny thing, I just made a post about removing my dogbone and collar. They’re not for lowering reg pressures more than restricting air flow through the valve to help with lower velocities. Once removed I gained 100fps at the same reg pressure, but it’s done nothing for the adjustments to my reg. I’m still having the same issue. It’s almost like the Belleville washers are sticky or something, and it’s not reacting the way it should. Odd thing is, once the pressure settles, it stays there indefinitely.

Could be some stickiness. I would try a few things:

1 - Degas the L2 and refill it. Could help the reg settle.

2 - Adjust the reg up and down through it range on 60-160 bar. Shoot off the air every 45-60* of turn so that you do not shoot the pressure too low. Maybe go through this range a few times.

I would imagine if, after the above checks you are still experiencing issues, it's time to call the vendor.
