EDgun Leshiy 2

I would think the Leshiy2 particularly with longer barrels would be fine for hunting at longer distances. IMHO the L2 wasn't built as a bench gun. They are as accurate as you can shoot them. I own one with 2 barrels (250 .22 and 350 .25). To me the longer barrels defeats the true intent of the Leshiy platform. If I was looking for a (long-range) hunter it wouldn't be the Leshiy. Not that it can't do it as shown in Jnewood video above it just wasn't designed for it. Triggers like a revolver pistol, you have to get used to it.

I certainly agree you can use the Leshiy 2 out to 100 yards. It might take you a while to get comfortable shooting at that distance, in terms of making modifications and practice, etc. It was designed as a convenient, packable hunting rifle at under 50 yards and it does that really well.

With enough modifications you could probably make a Crosman 1322 hunt out to 100 yards, but I wouldn't want to contemplate the machining bill.

The power of the Leshiy 2 is INCREDIBLE. The stock barrels that come with 250-600 are your choice. The 450 and 600mm barrel are definitely for shooting at ranges that exceed 100yds...and with no modifications. Their technology is unmatched.

I'll also add that hunting with semi auto beats lever action every time in the field....not made for benchrest shooting. Benches can't feed the family....lol....j/k around.

I do appreciate hearing different opinions, as they all have key points to consider. It's like football season...

I have a Leshiy 2 and would like to own another. They're hard to come by in Canada.

I certainly agree these rifles have a wide range of applicability. My point is their primary purpose is "packable hunter" rather than "range tool".
