I've just over two hundred pellets through mine and no issues so far. No regrets. I Subsequently learned of the Steyr Pro X Scout which would be, IMO, the only comparable alternative.

I got both, then got rid of the Steyr. Nothing really wrong with it, but I like the L2 much, much better.

GsT

Likewise, had to say goodbye to my steyr h5 (wanted something more compact & this is limited to only 5 shots). when you pick up a leshiy 2 its an amazing piece of engineering. and when you pull the trigger - huge smile on my face every time.

Shoebox and a guppy.... seems since the L2 arrived, the Shoebox is allways running.... :)

I put well over 200 hours on my Shoebox in 6 months after getting my Leshiy 2. The Russians killed my Shoebox..... :...( LOL

Now have an Ataros and refilling a 90 minute every 2-3 days.

Hey - you know what uses more air than a Leshiy 2?

2 Leshiys 2s

I WILL be getting one of them. I am getting the Python Edition through EdgunWest.com. Check it out if you haven't seen it. There is a video on YouTube showing it in action and man that thing slays dragons.

The price is steep, but after you consider the upgrades you would do anyway the price is probably better. The only reason I went with something different with my recent purchase was because semi-auto was not needed. I was going from a single shot, so next step for me was a levered gun. I went with the Cricket 2 from Charlie Frear (georgiaAirguns.com). But eventually the semi-auto will be in my closet.

If you read the long long long post on the Leshiy 2 you will see some issues, but it's new gun and new design. In a year all those issue will be worked out. I am waiting till next summer and diving in.

Enjoy your rifle.
