Lessons Learned from RMAC: JOE KNOWS HOSES and just might have saved my life!

When it all comes down to it do you trust that the Chinese tanks are made with the right stuff? Why do they sell chrome covered brass fittings and say there 4500 psi?

I have tried to do business with acecare and the are as crooked as they get. I can almost guarantee that they are just printing a DOT label.

Why would you sell a DOT tank and a non DOT?

How come none of there small tanks are not DOT?

You are either DOT certified or not.

I tried to buy 500 cc tanks from acecare. I said I need DOT certified tanks. Guy says I have to buy a lot which is 200 tanks. I said ok can I see your label? After about 2 weeks I get a email with a label. It was for a 67 ci paintball bottle from a company in Taiwan. I said nice try that is not your label. Never heard from them again It was going to be $20,000 in tanks and willing to put a fake label on them just to make them look DOT.

All you have to do is google the DOT number and it tells you who it is for. Simple.

As for the 300 bar 4500 psi thing. Look at your US made thank and it says right on it 310 bar- 4500 psi.

DOT is probably just like our CE marking, basically a complete waste of time and in a lot of instances a box ticking exercise for some beaurocrat.

Poor product is poor product, however you look at it ACECARE from my experience (probably 20 tanks at least) is up there with the best quality and more than good enough for the UK market distributors.

Ace Care is NOT DOT Certified it appears. They have a limited exemption for transportation in commerce if I read the attachment correctly:
