Had to vote other. Depends on what I'm doing. I suppose for general plinking at various ranges, I tend to prefer .22, but it's mainly because I have a good amount of JSB 18gr.

Still love my .177's, but I generally turn them down to 12-14fpe and use them for under 50 yards in windless conditions, unless I just want to torture myself.

.25 and .30 are near interchangeable for hunting in my opinion and then of course you have the big bores.

.22 is really an all-around rock star.

I see the .177 as now being generally obsolete for PCPs in countries without power restrictions.

Just my opinion, and I'm aware that some people will vehemently disagree.
I like my .177 pcp🤷‍♂️🤪🤙

For airguns; I'm only in the .177 and .22 pool🥴
Id have my ghost hp in 177 thankyou. I get up to 30 fpe with 16 gr h&n slugs and great trajectory with minimal wind drift and can shoot 13.4 gr mrd’s for ft
Oooh 16gr?🤔
I've got slugs to try for my .177; what all weights have you tried?
Got: 10gr, 12.5gr, and a couple 13gr to try out this week hopefully 🤞🤞🤞🤞

for now.... You're firmly hooked. .25 will be next. You'll then tire of hand pumping and look for a tank/compressor. After that, you'll skip 30 altogether and go straight for a big bore. Mark my words... ;)

Depending on what big bore you get...sure. But next step after big bores is casting your own anyway so moot point.
Resistance is futile.
My dad has casting stuff 🥴not for pellets...yet🤣
I might get some molds for him to try😋
I'm just a fan really of the fun you can have at/under/around 100yards while being very quiet with an airgun🤗🤪🤙

Fun is what it's all about. Good thing is that here, you'll get insight from all types of shooters!

Tried 12.5 - 13 & 16 gr slugs. The 13&16 h&n have a good bc and shoot great at short range haven’t tried at 100 yet only had the gun 4 days and it rained the last 2
