Started as a 2240 Crosman pistol, but now it's a 1740 and the longest gun in my arsenal. I put it together to burn up some of those $10 for 40pk of 12g carts I got a few years ago. Haven't found it's favorite pellets yet but the 10.34's are running at 660 for 10fpe. The disco end cap is threaded so that I can add some preload when the temp goes up.

Thanks, glad you liked it.

It has pretty much stock internals with a Mellon Air power adjuster which I set lighter to get more shots.

I installed the steel breech and TKO moderator. The trigger group is from a 2400 with the adjustable spring. The sight is a UTG Red or Green dot. I'm waiting on a custom set of grips to be made. The black finish on the breech and barrel was scuffed off with a wire wheel in my drill press.

Not completely “built” just yet. Ordered from the CCS on 7/3 and just received on 7/20. Can’t complain about that. Haven’t even shot it yet.
I bought the grips last year, just hadn’t put them on anything. Had a Supersear from eBay on hand that needed a home so installed that already. Already had the Donny adaptor and front sight that needed something to do. Now just waiting for a Williams WGRS-54 rear sight with notch blade sight. Going to leave it with open sights.
On the fence on whether or not to shorten the barrel by 1.5” or leave it as is. Shortening the barrel will bring the adaptor back over the tube almost to the breech for more of a stubby look.

Shweet! That Donny FL adapter is so cool - is that a Discovery front site or did you source something else?

The Donny adaptor is great. Especially if you want open sights. The front sight is a William’s 70105 .410” Firesight which I believe is the same one that Crosman used on the Discos except my Disco came with a green fiber optic. I don’t recall if I bought it from from Midway USA or Brownell’s.
