Let's talk .35 cal round ball

I just discovered my Evenix sniper really likes round balls.. the only ones I can find are the Seneca brand... My question is the ball have a break mark on them from the mold so some will fit in the clip while others out of the same box won't fit in the clip. How do u make theses round balls perfectly round hence removing the break mark???

Thanks ahead of time

That's called a "sprue". Load it facing forward or backward in the magazine OR get one of these:

It is odd that you would have .35 cal round balls. What is the box marked? You can get gang molds for buckshot. #3 buck is .25 cal. #0 buck is .32 cal, #00 buck is .33 cal, #000 buck is .36 cal and #0000 is .38 cal. These sizes are also useful in black powder shooting. I shoot .38 cal buck in my slingshots.

=) OH THAT 35cal! Laughing at myself a bit here.

You might find a .354" mold somewhere or try a mold #000 from someone like Midway. If you don't want to cast your own, you could take apart a #000 shell and shoot them to see if they will fly for you and then ... just buy them in bulk.

$38.00 for 500 shot (5 pounds, @70 grains per shot).

I would expect them to shoot quite well if you are getting good results with .354 shot. They are only 0.14mm bigger than what you are shooting. Might be a bit harder to load but should shoot as the bearing surface of a sphere isn't very big compared to a slug or even a pellet.
