Leyla 2.0, Tapian Veteran, Vulcan - Pros and Cons

Can't say that I've had any of the three however the Maverick humor struck a note. Weather and schedule permitting I try to get in an hour or two per day with a rifle and the dog roaming the Kalifornia farmland. I found out about the Leyla in the evening after ordering a Maverick earlier in the day. Called Brian the next morning, long wait for a Leyla however the synthetic stock RM5 was available and close in weight. The next day the Maverick and a RM5 w/Dedal scope arrived. The Maverick made a u-turn. My thoughts on the RM5 are parallel to Mike's, it's a keeper. Two years later, I still want a Leyla and found out they were back in stock after ordering a HW44 this week. Given that three Leshiy's are idle and one of them is my wife's, the timing is off otherwise it would be a done deal. Hope this nudges you in the right direction.

Are we the same person? Just kidding. But we can definitely relate. I got lucky on a deal for a .22 barrel and handguard for my Leshiy thats on its way. Love the Leshiy, wish my dogs did too. They both scatter and find cover when they see me grab the key to my gun cabinet.
The Lelya just seems like something so easy, so precise and fun to shoot.

I own both a taipan, and a vulcan 2 tactical, They are probably equal accurate if setup or tuned properly. But I would say compared to bullpups the vulcan 2 tactical is the easiest to shoot on the bench accurately. It has the feel of a regular rifle, even it is a litle shorter. The taipan is more difficult to control as it is relative short, and is more difficult to to cock without changing position on the bench, and get back to same position as before (rerward cocking). If you like to squeese the bag with the left hand, you have to use the same hand to cock the taipan. And if you use the right hand to cock it, you have to unshoulder the gun to cock it. On the vulcan you can mostly keep the same shooting position between each shot. I do not know how the bullpup version of vulcan 2 shoot, as I have never tried one. Have never tried a leyla 2 either.
Ammong the taipan, and vulcan. I would say the taipan is more robust built, as everything on it is just quality made. But the vulcan is not bad either.
It probably depends if you like to do allot of bench shooting, or mainly is a hunter, which maybe a short gun suit you better?
