Lightest Refill Tank?

I'm looking for the lightest tank possible to get a few extra shots out of a Leshiy for upcoming backpacking trips. I have a new 90ci Benjamin tank, but I'd be looking to drop the overall weight by 50% (including valve).

Does anyone have any recommendations for something off the shelf?

Since your Benji tank is made by Ninja it should not be metric thread. I would look into finding one of the Ninja 45ci "peanut" tanks. I think this would be your lightest option. Just get tank without a reg and put yours in it.

Ninja makes a SL (super light) small paintball tank in 68 cu in that would work fine for your intent. You can find used ones on eBay fairly cheap. Threads are 5/8"-18, same as your Benji tank.

Ha - That I didn't know! I had a Ninja loaded up in my cart, but started reading into various issues around quality / safety, and some unverifiable stuff around some of them not having DOT markings.

Thanks, the other thing that I need to get my hands on is a male DIN fill adapter. Learned that the hard way today, the closest shop to me that has one is 31 miles away :/

Nope. It’s the wrong size threads and the pressure rating is too low. Should be 310 bar. Threads on the small tanks are 5/8-18, larger tanks are 7/8-14.

i wouldn't think so, the regulators look way different. The Empire regs look like the chinese ones externally. Not sure where they are made, never researched them as Ninja are made in the USA and I like how their regs work.
