So I added light to a safe that was very dark got them at Home Depot motion activated usb rechargeable. Went electric on one and thought I would try these out. Really nice

Looking good! I second the question about the battery life. One of my safes has a power outlet inside, so I can wire lights up, but another smaller one does not, and I was considering similar options for illumination.

Looks like it would be easy to splice a magnetic read switch into that light so the light comes on when the door is open. Pretty sure I would forget to turn the light off at some point.

Checked them out on the HD website. There were a couple of bad reviews that sounded like they missed something in the set up. Most reviews were positive. It appears that they are motion activated, so having motion will keep them on, otherwise they shut off automatically after 2 minutes. Has a remote, or can be set up using the battery holder.

If you want to go wired I also just got this one from Amazon watch video. On site It works nice and lots of light. Will keep you posted on wireless. Not sure how long battery last before recharging it. but still working great
