Air Venturi Like it, Love it, Hate it?! The Avenge-X

I’m a big fan of the Avenger/AvengeX. I have both and the ease of tuning is addictive. The problem I have is that when I get a good tune, I feel the need to try to make it better (and end up screwing it up). Then, it seems like I can’t duplicate the original tune. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Oh well, that’s a good excuse to spend some more time at the range. 😁

I Like the platform. I did have some issues with the gun in .177 ( I have a thread titled "Trial and Tribulations" here on AGN)...
but in .22 and .25 it is dead nuts accurate..

Here she is in current form .25 cal

Ha!! I do that too. Fix it until it's broken.

I agree ease of changing the regulator is a big advantage for the Avenger. It seems like the hammer spring has a pretty short range of adjustability, however. It is also a bit buried and thus a bit difficult to get to.

But the key reason my original Avenger in 25 sits in the storage drawer under my bed a lot is it is so LONG. I just find my little short bullpups to be more fun to shoot. It also seems less accurate than my P35s. But there seems to be more variability of accuracy at the lower end of the PCP prices.
