Likes Crosman pellets

Thanks, Hateful.

I'll mic a few of the new ones and see where they are. The gun is currently running at 83% of available power, so bumping it back up to full power may seat the (probably) smaller skirts properly.

J~
I dont size them but on the springer i can tell from how it falls in the leade and pushing it to seat with my thumb.

Then per tin it's like a 3 of 10 or 1 of 10 ect.. feel looser kinda thing.. as many as ive shot in life it's near a natural thing anymore....lol

Oh well, i guess thats how it is when you dont shoot $ fancy mail order pellets ..

Well figured id check my work from yesterday at 50y i was still right (3hashed shots). So i gave it a click left and that helped . I blamed the wind when it was the scope ? Hmmm..( not the shooter).😁 Maybe another click left? Id of found out if my coffee cup was not on empty. Lol

The cphp i think for the price there kinda hard to beat. Being i dont use fancy mail-order pellets i just cant say if using them would this be all like one hole'ers?

Keeping in a inch circle at 50y just plinking around i cant complain so i stick with the cphp in .177 and .22

I still have a few boxes of the old Crosman Premier pellets, and they are excellent. The stuff in tins has always been garbage in my rifles, but I haven't tried them in a long time. For close range plinking I'm sure they are fine. They never worked for me in 25-50 yard BR.
Cant say i just use walmart bought tins.

Oh come on Deco, I am a German gate snob and I have bunches of Crosman tins on hand. I haven’t bought any in a long time because all the locals price them like JSBs.

They shoot ok in my HWs, but it depends more what you are trying to do with them.

Punching dots in the basement in perfect conditions, no, they do not compare to most of the more expensive ammo available. Accurate enough for pesting? Under 25 for me would be ok, if you can accept the wild fliers every so often.

I don't get to shoot at longer ranges or as often asyou, so the savings does not pay off for me. I would rather spend a little more and greatly reduce the frequency of the fliers.

I have 5 inexpensive Walther barreled guns. 4 Crosmans and a Daisy. The difference between CPHP and AA or H&N is too much for me.

I do shoot CPHP in my Crosman barreled guns. They are a good match for those because the Crosman barrels that I have do not shoot anything good, at least to my Walther skewed perception.

I am going to try them in my stock Prod and see if that barrel likes them. I hope it does, but so far Meister wadcutters are what work best.

For plinking, CPHP are fine. I do want to try some domes, but I have never seen any local.

My Prod will stack the CPHP's, that's all I shoot out of it. My HW's hate them, 20yd groups look like a shotgun pattern.

Which HW is that? Honestly I tried them in my 50s during the tuning process, so maybe I should give them another try in that one. They were horrible in my 30s.

Well... Its a R9 . Pretty much a hw95 and its barrel is stamped hw. So i assume run of the mill barrels for any used on the assembly line..lol. ( who knows anymore). Anyway kinda to what i just said above i stick to there .177 stuff. Though id planed to get a .22 95/r9 but just missed a boat on one .. maybe i won't procrastinate on the next deal .. im still kicking myself goofing up that last week..

Worlds worse device camera😭

My Weihrauch HW110 .22 likes the Crosman 14.3s - both dome and HP.

I tried to become the 1st person to break 190 in the 30 Yard Challenge using Crosman pellets. This is where pellet consistency really shows as your bullseye is about the size of a pinhead.

I never broke 190, but I did shoot an official 189. I know that it’s possible to break 190 with the Crosmans because I shot a 196 practice target - that was the last time I reused a target - thought I would “warmup” and just started nailing bulls, it teased me to keep trying…
