Will slug liners shoot pellets as well as pellet liners and how much worse or better?

Different tunes but theoretically yes ,
but what is your benchmark?
shooting rings or plinking or hunting?
50 y/M or less, or more like 100 y/m distances?
btw, I have six liners, two .25x700, two .25x600 and two .22x600. A pellet and slug liner one of each and I tested these from a same MK2 @100 meters.
The average five shots group size out of let say one hundred shots into rings is within 1.25" and 1.7" . Yes there were sub MOA groups but also fliers that made the groups 2"...
If you not going to compete @100 you can rest and have a good sleep, all will work for you just fine.

in .177 i have also shot pellets just fine, but that caliber have 0 in difference between std and heavy barrel
