List of left hand rifles

Hello everyone! I am looking to expand my rifle collection, but I am having a difficult time finding a large variety of rifles for lefty shooting. I currently have a slew of Benjamin rifles but every time I slobber over a new pcp I find after much research that they are right hand exclusive or some appear to be lefty (can be transitioned to left hand cocking) but there are interferences such as magazine placement preventing proper cheek weld. Help me expand, what are the quality lefty rifles?

What makes a gun "left handed" from your point of view? For example, if it doesn't have a cocking lever, like a semi-automatic, would you consider that to be ambidextrous?
I would, as long as the build permitted usage from a left hand shot as functionally well as the right. I suppose I mean guns that can be shot in all positions left handed. There are many guns with an ambidextrous grip and an action that can function for a lefty in benchrest, but I’d risk making the statement the most people shoot in multiple positions such as offhand. I don’t think a one trick pony makes it a lefty. With that being said, if you can recommend any auto that is reliable and has access to parts and support, I am all ears

I shoot lefty. I also shoot from any number of tortuous positions, including from the seat of a truck, over the windshield of a side by side UTV and off the top of an ATV, as well as benchrest.

There is much misinformation floating around about what works, what is comfortable and what does not. My two hunting bullpup guns and my luxury level Daystate Wolverine all have right side cocking lever. I have no issues with either brand. ***But*** there are issues for me with some FX rifles with magazine placement.

I can recommend the Kral Knight and Kral Puncher Breaker. About every Kral except the Pro 500 have Ambidextrous stocks and the magazines are not in your face. I don't cycle the gun from the shooting position - I am not a speed shooting freak. Accurate shots are my game.

The question for you is, how and what do you plan to shoot? Do you plan to walk the woods? A shorter and lighter gun may be better suited. I understand that being new means that you might not really have a solid idea of what you are looking for. There is a HUGE amount of confirmation bias in the sport. Keep an open mind and good luck in your pursuit.

And welcome to AGN!

A few all lefties. Rapid mk ll .20, Raw hm1000x. 30 and Daystate grand prix .177.

I think there have always been full lefty versions of the Daystate huntsman series (I own a full lefty Harrier SE and that goes back a ways). You would have to confirm this next part, but I think many of the electronic valve Daystates with electronic valve can be swapped to lefty just by flopping the bolt lever over.

Air Arms makes the Galahad, and I think the (Taipan?) Veteran can be switched lefty. BSA - I have a Scorpion SE with ambi stock and a short throw bolt lever. I just flipped the bolt handle around and run it “quasi-left”, where bolt moves down and back to open. It actually works quite well like that.

And every single shot rifle with ambi stock (like the Benjamin Discovery) is open game, because you reload the rifle to load for every shot anyway.

you can also find lefty target rifles like FWB601.

I would ask which guns have you been interested in. As a lefty shooter it is only the FX Wildcat, Impact, Maverick line which has proven tough for us southpaws.

Don't discount any rifle format with cocking on the right. Or bullpups with right handed mid cocking. As long as you can get a cheek weld, shooting lefty actually has some benefits. You can keep you hand on the grip/trigger and still cock the rifle so follow-up shots can be quicker. Even if it is a rear cocking bullpup like a Veteran, as long as the cocking lever can be moved to the left side you are in business.

As a lefty one get sick and tired of being sick and tired of manufacturers that ignore us. Seek out the ones that serve your needs. No need to be a second class citizen.

Agree with Shambozzie. It makes no sense to limit your own sales.
Approximately one in 10 is a lefty. If you sold widgets, why would you toss out 10% of your sales? Crazy.
I really appreciate guns like the Redwolf, which are ambi stocks and the action can be switched to either side.

It would be helpful to know what your looking for. Hunting, bench rest, long range, big bore, Field Target, etc.
