What prevents the multi shot loading devices from working in a CMP Daisy 853M? And is there a single shot loader made for the 853M?

i believe the single shot tray will only be found when you buy and complete set of 5 shoot mags i just checked at Diasy and they are normally there for a few bucks but i didn't see them Pryamyd Air has them for 5.99 but they are something that are disappearing
i would call Daisy and if they don't have them bite the bullet and pay what you have to

@marflow 777, I've only had a couple of days with my 853M from CMP. Now that I look at the 853 closer I don't think I it is built to accommodate the 853C's single shot loader or multi shot mags ever if self indexed. I might get a set to just to frustrate myself. For 6.99 a set including the single shot loader who knows worth a look?

well years ago they called these the 853 and 853c where the M came from don't know the 853 is a single shot for me they are a PIA to load
the Daisy or Avanti now i have a 853 and a 953cm and the 953cm was used for collage shooters for ROTC as i understand it
so, a 853 is a single shoot with no single shot tray available to my knowledge

853s are singleshot. The 953 is a multishot(5) with auto indexing. I have 2 853s from CMP and a 953 I purchased from a member on another forum. Plus I have a loose 753 upper laying around that has a LW barrel. There is a manual that CMP sells that goes over how to fix/adjust them that I highly recommend. I think it's on one of the sites for free as a pdf, though I believe it's a pirate copy.
