Local dive shop closed, where do I get hpa now ?

Crosman's fill locater say's 0 within 100 miles and 5-6 within 200 miles, ugh.

Used to live in TN, easy air, moved to E. Wa , NOTHING!
Had a shop compressor so I went with the Altros booster and actually should have tears ago when the local scuba went to $12.00.

Many of the lower cost hand pumps do work well if that's even a possibility for you.

WHO fill's the Fire Dept?

Rent a 6,000psi nitrogen Tank?

Thanks for all the great advice. I went to a nearby firehouse and talked to the chief. They have a compressor used to fill their tanks. They prefer a 2200 psi tank, so they use a CGA 346 fitting. I, being a good citizen, offered to buy them an adapter to go to scuba tank. My next question is, 
Does it matter if the adapter is for a 347 ? From what I can figure, the 347 is about 2 threads longer.

Wait until someone more knowledgeable than me jumps in but I think either one will be ok.........with a SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) tank. These are 4500 psi tanks that firefighters use. If you're talking about a SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) tank, these are the ones divers use and are 3000 psi tanks. You've got me confused with "prefer a 2200 psi tank". ???

Thank you, The chief told me they use their tanks filled to 2200 psi. I think they will hold 4500 psi. Safety, maybe ? Their compressor is beautiful, and will fill to 4500, "very quickly" he said. I thought the same thing about the 347 being able to work on both. I'm going to call the guy about the adapter, a compressor place in Minn.

i have a 40 cuft scuba tank that I have filled to 3000 to 3500 psi. Most of my guns use 2000 psi or less. Mitch

 If thinking of a "4300.00" compressor do research!
Some people have had luck, some have gotten nothing from different vender(s).
Some models work well after MUCh work , machining included.

Personally I would love to have a tiny ( dry ) air compressor that just filled my rifles,or a tank, suits my needs right now.

Total cost of booster and scba tank & fittings and shop compressor ( which I needed anyway) was under , gulp, $1,000 but a LOT better than NO air.

PA seems out of stock on both their booster & smallest compressor right now.

Have you check Nitrogen yet?
Some places in the U.S. it can be rather inexpensive ( I know of one person in TN who get's the huge 400lb size tank at $80.00 per year , most places seem more ?).

Hello John and thank you for your thoughts. 
I have checked into nitrogen, here it was gonna cost me about $100 a year for rental plus gas. I believe he said it would be $60 for the gas per fill. Big, heavy tank. Plus I would have to get my own regulator.
As for the compressor, I think I will hold off a little while. I have ordered an adapter for my local fire department. Let's see how that goes.
