Long Range Question for RW .177 HP owners

I always shoot 10 shot groups to see the variation More shots would be better !



I did try this with my Delta Wolf .177 HP

Thanks a lot, Mike ! I will be taking the RW .177 HP out this weekend and shoot the JSB KO 13.43 gr from 50 to 150 metres and will try 20 shot groups instead !

My experience has been, if you double the amount of shots, you approximately double the size of the group. I don’t think that would apply going from 50 Shots to 100, but it could.

Going from 5 to 10, at 100 yards, with a really accurate Rifle, It will approximately double.

Same thing going from 10 to 20 shots.

It was really hard for me to believe this at first, but if you remove the screamers, the magic groups, I think you’ll find it to be true.
