Longer Fill Whips...

I'm curious as to where I can get a longer fill whip for my Yong Heng compressor. Maybe it's just me, though I doubt it; but the stock whip is way too short. Not sure why. But it seems like they'd give a good bit more length seeing as how we typically have to keep an eye on our gauges while filling...

I think that the filling whips are on the short side to minimize the volume of HPA lost each time you bleed the line.

Virtually unlimited air from HPA home compressors and carbon fiber tanks is a relatively recent thing. Filling from a (relatively) low pressure SCUBA tank that required a trip to the dive shop to fill made people careful about wasting air unnecessary. Especially when small cylinder reservoirs on PCPs required filling ever 35 shots or so.

Cheers!

@DevilsLuck You can order fill whips to your preferred length(s) here http://airtanksplus.com/product-category/pcp-microbore-hoses/

These are not cheap, but I've ordered a few and haven't had any issues with them for use to fill from SCBA tank to gun. My compressor fill whip is not a micro-bore hose. Their fittings are robust as well. Oh and look into some 90º fittings to help cut down on crimping the fill whip.

Thanks for the link @Ezana4CE. I'll definitely check these out.
