I wouldn't have sold it to anyone else. Ed knows that the beauty of that rifle is the way it shoots, then it's looks.

He's right though. I have a few that help me get past it.

Being aluminum, my only concern is keeping the set screw(s) tight enough to prevent them from coming loose. To tight and you strip the threads. To loose and they loosen more. I'm assuming it uses set screws and isn't pressed on the barrel ?

I used two set screws and a shim to protect the barrel. Most muzzle brakes I've seen are aluminum. Shouldn't have too much problems with coming loose the HW30 is an easy cocker. My concern is his hand will get black from the "aluminium".

LOL ! True, I remember working with alot of aluminum and my hands turning black. Nice job on that muzzle brake Karl ! I'm sure the aluminum was a nice harder alloy like 6061 ? Your correct though, the HW30 isn't a harsh shooter.

My buddy picked up 97kl stainless, last week. To me, the muzzle doesn’t look like it belongs. They wanna call I’ll stainless, it should all be stainless.

No...not Mike E. Lol. Got this from a different Mike.

I'm going to add more panels eventually. Just love this style R7 stock. The Schnabel is the cherry on top. JM did a great job on these. Too bad he will no longer be making them.
