Look what the brown box dropped off?

I went over to my local hardware store and bought several springs and I was able to trim several springs to fit. After I finally found one spring that would get me just below 880 fps, I dial in my speed to just shy of 880 fps. This is what I got. How do you like them apples?

I know if I install the larger 480 CF tank I could easily get over 40 shots which to me is freak'n awesome. Even with 36 shots only costing me 8 dollars in springs is great too.

In the beginning I was a little disappointed but now I'm ecstatic how this gun turned out with just $8.00 and backing down the power. Another good thing is I could easily install the factory spring and shoot the heavier H&N Baracuda's if I need 49 ft-lbs.

I'm having a lot of fun tuning this gun. I decided to install the 580 cc Talon Tunes CF bottle. It took a lot of sanding and trimming with the dremel and it came out really nice:

The cold temp in the garage brought my numbers down just a little from 880 fps average to 873 average:

Other then adjusting the trigger, I think I'm done playing with this gun. I did play with the idea of figuring out how to install double bottles but I really don't want to to go to deep into this gun. My goal was to get at least 40 shots at 880 fps with this gun and I'm glade I got it with the CF bottle. I almost got it with the standard bottle and I'm sure someone could get there if they mess with the valve.

Thanks much, I wondered if that pin locks it. Yes I have heard there is very little adjustment.

About that Kral Bighorn, to be attractive to me, big bores need to shoot to the bottom power of the starting level of my old Lyman cast bullet book, or equal to 22 lr energies. My Texan 257 LSS does, (25-20 level), my Seneca 25 carbine does,(25 acp or 6 inch 22) and my Bulldog, which equals a 6 inch 38 Spl (150 NOE hp’s @ 910 FPS. The Bighorn is doing it with the 44 grain at 950- plus, again a 6 inch 22, and that is attractive. My old Haley 257 Scandalous that I videoed busting 12 oz cans at 500, 550, 615 yards equaled my new Texan LSS at a lower PSI, 3600 vrs 3750 psi, the rear valve straight discharge design of the AF design being responsible for the difference I believe.

Did your Kratos come with any kind of cover to keep dirt out of the fill port? It mentions a cover in the paper work but mine didn't come with anything like that at all. I've tried to call Crossman customer service several times and either they don't answer or the machine says leave a message, followed by a mailbox is full message. There was also a message saying their email system was offline for maintenance. I haven't tried to call after Christmas, I guess I need to try again.

But if you can tell me if it comes with some kind of dust cover it will save me some trouble.
