FX Looking at the DRS classic

Was looking at the price & specs for a .25 DRS classic with a 600mm barrel this morning. Price is really not that bad but then I noticed the weight. 13 Pounds! Holy Crap! That's close to twice as much as my FX Boss (7.3 lbs). The DRS Pro is probably lighter but also more than twice the cost. I'd love to have a new long distance airgun but a new hernia, not so much.

That weight can’t be right. Probably not even after an airgun guy puts his Hubble telescope on it. The 500mm is a flyweight. I can’t imagine 10 more mm packing on that many pounds.

This is really weird, I just went to the same site, looked at the same ad, looked at add'l info but the weight is no longer listed. I just saw it there less than an hour ago & now it's gone. Guess you can't advertise a gun as "light weight & easy-to-carry" if your weight shows 13 lbs!

I was really hoping that was WRONG. Even my old "cast iron" Hatsan BT65 didn't weigh 13 lbs.

Just got mine today. .22 600mm. Put a Hawke Airmax scope on it and it weighs 7.2 pounds on my postal scale. Really feels light in the hand like my old Crown synthetic.
