Looking for a carbon tank regulator

This is a couple pics of what I'm dealing with. The one showing the tank is basically all I need. The reason I'm having to replace it is I have a leak where I close the valve which is showing on the pic to the left. Also, what is a SCBA tank? I take it it is a scuba tank. Mine is a carbon fiber bottle rated for 4500 PSI.

@bat54action A SCBA tank is a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus tank. That's what you have in the second photo, a carbon fiber SCBA tank. It appears that you are in search of a SCBA tank valve or valve component like a gauge that displays the pressure level. I don't see a regulator in your photos.

Not sure about the sizes. You can sort that out. Here are a couple of links to retailers selling SCBA valves.

Once you remove the valve knob, you should be able to replace seal or o-ring that's giving you problems. Check your "nomenclature". You're showing a valve but talking about a "regulator". Two different things. Look up SCBA & SCUBA to learn the dif. Put a crescent wrench or the like on the square part under the knob and unscrew it. I believe you'll find a seal responsible for your leak under there.

You're correct! I didn't realize the difference, but I do now. Yes, what I am looking for is the "valve", which is the part that screws into the tank. Also, I was able to disasemble the valve in the way that you stated. I found two O rings and a teflon ring I believe, along with a seal at the base of the hex I unscrewed. Nothing seemed to be out of place, or bad. Nothing like a cut ring. I cleaned everything up and it's now in the process of charging the tank. Last time it seemed to charge just fine up to 3000 PSI. I think its time to just purchase a new valve and be done with it, which I'm going to do. I have found a couple thanks to the members on here. Plus it will be a few days or so before the new one arrives. I really like the Saber Tactical that Utah Air has, but again the price is a bit stiff, but the carry handle on it would be a nice addition.
It will take some time to charge my tank, but I will put a post up as to what happens. It probably will fail seeing I didnt do anything but clean and relube the parts, but I highly doubt if I will be able to locate that small of an O ring and also the teflon discs, but I will check my local hardware stores.

So a valve is to open and close/shut off. Your kitchen faucet is a type of valve. A valve is basically a contraption that lets something in or out, and is controlled manually or mechanically.
Now that you understand what a valve is and does, do you know what a regulator is? It’s important to know and understand terminologies in this hobby, as we’re dealing with high pressure air
