I guess the bottom line is how much money, space, and need for convenience the OP has. The thing that keeps the Omega in my mind is the relatively clean, quiet, convenient operation it seems to provide. My views on compressors has been different than many since my first choice for a compressor would probably be a gas powered Nuvair/Coltri or similar (I'm in a very rural area). Less convenient than electric in many ways but provides certain advantages. For an urban backyard shooter or even a suburban shooter with space constraints the Omega seems like it has certain advantages. Agree that the Omega is not likely to provide the same service life as the Daystate but would it be adequate or even more than adequate for the OP. Or the base model as you linked above might be all he would need. All seems relative to each person's needs.
