I made a protective foam cylinder from a 1/2 inch thick foam pad that was a campers mattress pad that I had laying around.
Duluth makes some nice canvas bags. Mine has leather shoulder straps and handle

Bucket boss - gate mouth 24 inch tool bag. Excellent bag , has interior and outside pockets to hold about any thing extra you might need. Heavy duty canvas material. Comes with shoulder strap and handle. From Amazon, 41.99 Should last for years.

Finally got a couple bags for my airtanks. They fit well, are quite sturdy, have a bunch of pockets and the price was right at $28ea. They even have a cool logo. I'm pleased, thanks for the help.

100 Cu inch SCBA tanks
I tried a tank tote which should also work for the 100 inch tanks, but it sticks out so far I feel that it is less than desirable. If carried by the strap it would not balance, but would be vulnerable side down, and possibly slide out. Does some one have a good idea for the 100 cubic in? Im sure a duffle of some sort will work, but a specialty item would be preferred.
My tank with fixtures is 27 inches, so I am still looking
