Air Venturi Looking for a good PCP compressor

I have a HPA tank as well as a 250z barra and i'm looking for a really good bang for my buck with an air compressor.

I'm looking at this one:

I have the GX cs2 that's been working great . It's built better than my 2 previous cheap compressors , you can service it and rebuild parts are available . I purchased it on Amazon with a 3 year warranty. I doubt I will need it though .

I know aliexpress can me sketchy but I have had good luck so far. I can't complain about a - I model for $496... Less Than the standard 250 version.

There were some reports on the GX Pump FB Page warning about counterfeit GX Compressors being sold on AliExpress. Hopefully, the one you ordered is legit and GX Pumps will honor the warranty. I buy from AliExpress pretty frequently and have had good luck, but I accept the fact most items sold there are knock-offs and not OEM. But then, with a lot of those items, I really don't care, and have had good luck with most!

As a 1st time buyer/user of a pcp compressor, my advice is to buy NEW! One NEVER knows how a used one might have been treated or possibly abused. Yong Heng or CS4 seem to be what the majority here own. I'm a YH guy & not familiar with the CS4 but owners seem to be satisfied. I got 3.5 years from my 1st YH (with a full refund) when it finally died. My new one has been better than the 1st.

I’ve recently purchased an AirKing300 ‘Outback’. Runs on mains power or 18v batteries. Air cooled not oil or water.
Has been good so far (only couple of months in). They do a mains and 12v version as well.
Takes about 6 1/2 mins to take my FX Impact from around 110bar to 245 bar.

"Good" and "aliexpress" is a hilarious contradiction lol. In my opinion the CS4 is the cheapest "decent" compressor on the market right now. I have a CS3 that I got on a good sale through amazon, knowing it will not last as long as the better designs out there. It has been great for me so far, and the extra money is well worth having the auto shutoff.

I think the cheapest "Good" compressor is the Omega Trail Charger. Of which by some reports, is just a nicer CS4 with some better materials and parts made in the same factory. My good friend has one with a lot of hours on it still going strong after years in the outside elements.

Wanted to provide a little update. I did a deep dive through all the sellers of the CS4-i on aliexpress and discovered every seller pushing this out at 500 mark has feedback indicating a tracking scam. Basically they post tracking but send it to themselves and don't post the address on the tracking. This makes it impossible to get a refund through aliexpress who has horrible customer service. Basically to get your money back you would need to go through a lengthy dispute through your credit card company, providing all supporting documentation proving the tracking was delivered to an address that is not your own.

Basically hours of headache just to get your cash back.

I decided it was well worth the extra $100 to buy direct from the manufacturer per a previous members recommendation.

I’ve heard some horror stories pertaining to purchasing GX compressors & other things from Aliexpress. If your looking for a nice CS3-I check the classifieds, I have one for sale there.

GX has never sold on Aliexpress... they are either fakes, knockoffs, or you just simply will never receive the compressor.

If one even shows up, there's zero support or warranty for it in the US.

It's a constant battle with Aliexpress and sending cease and desist orders to those random listings on there.
