Looking for a new pistol (cheap, powerfull, small, reliable)

I think I'm done with trying to repair my SPA800, I refuse to waste more effort with the damn thing.

I want to replace it with a pistol, reliable, cheap and powerfull cause I want that second hipotetical SHTF utility, so at least, it has to be capable of taking down small game up to a Hare/Rabbit.

Ideally It has to be a small pistol, at least the size of a handgun and not those horrible large and bulky things that look like rejected designs of space sci-fi B movies, so no hatsan supercharger or other bulky abominations. I would also rater to not need a external power, so pcp or co2 are less favorite, and has to be middly precise and hard shooting, and of course nothing from SPA/Artemis, I had enough with that branch.

Options:

The crossman 1733 was my first airgun and I love it, my mother didn't like it that much so one fine day she trows it to the trash... I know the gun it's very hard to beat overall, but it's not what I want it right now... too large for a handgun, and.. holy poop those 10 pumps.

I do have a Umarex HDR.50 11joule version, tunned to 16+ joule (I remove the valve block and shorten the valve pin), but... its practically has loud as a real firearm, it shots .50 cal so little to no penetration (I think if a rabbit was hit by that it's gonna be the equivalent of punching him, and maybe you don't even kill it), and of course... the trigger pull is atrocoius and precision is... well, a paintball gun, not really for hunting.

I take down the options no 2:

Daisy 408

I don't like much the co2 pistols, they tend to be underpowered, the daisy 408 is rated less powerfull than 415 or 5170, but it can shoot pellets instead of only bb's at 3 fpe, but... is it any good? does it have the punch to take down a rabbit?

Beeman p-17

I love the design, it's also cheap and doesn't need co2 or external filler. I heard that they are accurate, but those power numbers are pretty low... around 2.8fpe, and supposetly you need at least 5 fpe for rabbits. You gonna shot at 10 metters max with a pistol so, will 3fpe be enough to take down that pesky rabbit with a good placed shot, at 90% of the times?

I would rater buy a gun like the zoraki hp-01, does exist any china cheap copy of it?

I'm also opened to alternatives, but it has to be ''pistol sized'' things, and under 100 bucks.

Crosman 150, 35 yard brain shot, pellet found under the hide on the off side. That's typical on brain and chest shots all the way to jackrabbits. Not as powerful in lower temps (law of diminishing returns, especially below 80 degrees F). Unscoped, small enough to carry in a back pocket. Target pistol accuracy.

So you already have a cheap Chinese gun how is that werqing out for you?

You really have a very limited choice when trying to cram " (cheap, powerfull, small, reliable)" into an under $100 gun that is more than allot to ask for the money.

One of the best choices you have is a Co2 gun although you state they are under powered. In their stock form, or in cold weather, that may be so. But in temps above 65-70 degrees,or with a few mods, out of at least a 10 inch barrel, 14 inch is better, the Crosman 2300KT in .177 or better yet .22 should have more than enough power for you. The 1377/1322 would werq fine as well if low temps are a problem.

With a bit of modifying, which is what these guns are all about, you can easily up the power significantly on either of these guns. Therefore they are great guns to start with and slowly turn them into what you really want.

Be careful not to go to far though cuz you definitely can.

It's unfortunate that you had chosen the poopty pistol among the three Artemis offerings. I purchased all three and still have my two PP750 and two PP700 models. The PP800 was total crap and I dumped it after two days. No comparison to the other two.

+2!!! It doesn't get cheaper, powerful, small and simple/reliable than PP700! Best pistol in Artimis line.

WHAT ever happened to your brand new PP750 you ordered after I told you that the PP700 was more accurate?

I see a pistol ID post about a chinese springer rated at 400fps, and it doesn't seem too bulky.

The china/india spring guns forms a very intresting universe of crap. Does someone found something worth on that market? again, it has to be small, I know the hatsan Supercharger shoots at good speeds, but it is NOT a pistol by any means.
