N/A Looking for a smallbore silhouette pistol

Not small bore, not exactly cheap...

But I want one 😁

Like many newbie posts soliciting advice for airguns, what you're asking about doesn't exist. But unlike other newbie posts soliciting advice for airguns, what you're asking about never will exist.

The largest silhouettes you could hope to knock over with any air pistol are 1/5 scale, and such an air pistol doesn't meet your other criteria. All recommendations above either didn't read your post closely enough, or know nothing about silhouette shooting.
@AirNGasman You are the leading expert in this field, and the go-to for inspiration and knowledge. Could you give us a quick list of what would be needed in a pcp pistol to compete under the current silhouette rules and criteria for max power to possibly knock down a 1/2 scale or even 1/5 scale?

@noremaximus Just an observation in the airgun building world, though the GK1 is a bit "expensive" under your above listed criteria, by the time you build something to fit your needs you'd probably have just as much into it as if you'd have invested in a GK1 and outfitted it with a good accurate optic.

I respect your input, its probably fact that a pistol will not be able to knock over a 1/2 scale ram at 100 yards, and thats fine. I don't see any issues with knocking over chickens and pigs at 40 and 50 yards. Ive done it before in compitition with my Marauder. So, It might be true that what I'm asking for in a pcp pistol might not be double. thanks again.

Having much experience with 1/10 and some with 1/5 scale silhouettes, after researching the sizer of 1.2 scale I see I overestimated their size. Couldn't find a weight for 1/2 scale pigs; but if you've knocked them over with a Marauder I stand corrected.

That confessed, a .25 caliber Huben GK-1 is what you want. Although it violates your budget, you won't regret the investment. Mine's .22, but I'm not shooting 1/2 scale pigs at 50 yards.

Thats going to be what I need. Even though its on the high end with price it would work for what I need. Thank you.

Just accept the price tag and get the funds for it eventually as an 'investment' in your happiness... if it checks all the boxes.

Buyers regret is a terrible thing at PCP prices. You might as well do it right the first time

Looks like my second post in this thread, that apparently came a minute after yours AH, probably answers your question(s).

However, what Zack wants to do doesn't follow silhouette rules. It will take a very powerful PCP pistol to consistently knock down 1/2 scale pigs at 50 yards (per his post). However that isn't the case with 1/5 scale silhouettes.

I'll now take this opportunity to apologize to Zack. The 1/2 scale pigs are not as large (so also HEAVY) as I thought they are, but it will nevertheless take something of GK-1 ilk for your purposes.

Zack, I'm attaching a copy of my TEXtreme Field Target Pistol rules for interest/reference sake, Bud; as you sound like someone who might appreciate Pistol Extreme Field Target.
