I'm new to competing and I am looking for local events to get my feet wet. I am in dallas texas.

There are none. You got to drive to OKC or Boerne for N50, or you can shoot Rons Tex-Treme silhouette in Waco. The airgun Benchrest thing hasn't blossomed in Texas.

Every month Ron rotates between FT, Extreme FT, and silhouette. I went to the FT last week for the first time and had a blast. Recommended.
