Looking for info on a 1948 - 1950 Challenger arms corp plainsman

parts are going to a problem as you well know luck will have to play a part in finding them
and some info out of last Blue Book

Sorry, thought you were looking for pistol, (my bad). Yours is missing a lot of critical parts, but, if you have skills you can adapt other parts.

No it's ok I should have specified in the beginning
 
well grading is objective as everyone know you finish on the wood, finish on the metal, function and is it complete
it is in the 40-45% maybe i don't grade guns for a living but if it does not function and has parts missing or needed maybe at best it is a parts gun
the unknowns are the problem and the parts are an issue the stock can be repaired and refinished the metal can be reworked to look better
but it is ROUGH and at what point do you go underwater
