Looking for recommendations for a fixed 50x power rifle scope

I shoot bench rest targets only and at ranges of 300 to 600 yards.
I currently have a SFP 10x-40x Athlon scope which I like.
I would like to try a fixed 50x scope to get a bigger sight picture at longer ranges.

Any membership recommendations for a fixed 50x scope? I'm looking for a "previously owned" scope and priced under $500.

If you can keep your comments "on topic", I would like to hear from you.

Thank you in advance.

Most of the 50 power scopes look to run around 2000.00 that I can find. I know you said used, but this one is right around your 500.00. I have no idea if it's any good though. Edit: Oops just noticed it adjustable to 50.
Bear basin has some but they are on sale at 1900.00 or so. Good luck on your search.
Thank you for chiming in. I ordered the scope you suggested because it has free returns on Amazon. The 12x60 power is intriguing and should show me a larger sight picture at longer distances..

Well, Rod, what did you think of the 12-60x60 scope?

FYI: After reading your post on searching for extreme long range shooting buddies, I have been looking at some other posts of yours — I sure would have you come to shoot in the desert hills at the gates of my city! I think it's awesome what you're doing and I'm slowly planning and buying my way to get to your XLR (extreme long ranges) as well! 👍🏼👍🏼
However, I'm located on a different continent..., so your 2-3 hour travel requirement to the XLR range couldn't even be met if you used a jet....! 😄

Keep up the good work! And do tell us of your progress, including your scope search.
Your review on the target changer I found very helpful! 👍🏼

Just got the Minotaur in the mail.

I'll start with the negative
1. vertical turret does not provide enough adjustment. Strange that they would choose a 34 mm main tube design and NOT give you enough clicks. An Adjustable scope mount might be needed if you want to shoot Field Target with this. I'll be shooting mil-hash with this until I figure out if I'll keep this scope.
2. only the center dot lights up. Be nice if the entire reticle lit up.
3. I'm planning to shoot WFTF with this at 30X. (Since there isn't enough clicks) I can barely squeeze everything from 10yards to 30 yards ...My TX at 10-11 FPE ...
4. 60X a bit dark
5. Mine didn't come with a side-wheel. Does anyone know if a side wheel is included? In the original box there seems to be a slot for a side wheel...but it was left empty.
6. 34 mm main tube. It does come with two piece picatinny mount. You'll need an adaptor if you have dove tails.

Positives
1. $500
2. 60X
3. Nice usable reticle

More testing this weekend to see if it'll hold zero and survive a 10 FPE springer

Sorry didn't realized the OP wanted to shoot bench from 300-600 yards. No idea if this would be doable with this scope.

Finally sent it back. 60X really wasn't usable. ranging was subpar. Very short-term testing (less than 200 pellet)...seems to hold zero on a 10 FPE springer.

I had over ten high zoom-power scopes in recent years, mostly impuls buys based on "specs". Until finally started listening reviewers like Rea for example,,, I emailed him my questions...and I listened he's advice... I got rid of all those scopes and kept only these two really meant for long ranges...
Falcon X50 yes it is a zoom glass but full clarity all the way to x50 power, rated for 1000 meters target. Impressive price point for impressive glass.
Nikko Stirling Diamond NightEater, 12-32x60, built for night time hunting in Safari.
I have also couple lower power not really common- popular name glass, it would be worth to mention but don't want to derail further the topic.
Just for fun of it I would also pick one high power single power scope if we get some good value conversation going forward. Something single x50 or x60 prime lens ?

I shoot bench rest targets only and at ranges of 300 to 600 yards....
As you said 300-600 yards is in your focus....
I don't think a x30 or x40 scope will do a good enough job to your liking, you probably know the saying "aim small miss small" ????
You will need to step into Japanese or German glass technology for that.
Save the money don't buy a spotting scope but buy a good glass instead.
