Looking to buy a used Air Ventri 4500 psi compressor.

This is the compressor that I am looking at:
Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for. He says it only has about 3 or 4 hours on it.
Pressurize the hose with a plug. See how long it takes. See how long it takes for a leak down. Fill a tank see how long it takes and what temperature it gets to. Check for air going into the coolant and blowing coolant cap off (gasket leak). Should be good to go.

When mine is running well it takes about 1min 50 sec to 2 min to pressurize the fill hose to 4000psi. Thats using a small wica gauge as the dead head. If it drags on longer than that it needs a little help. I usually run this test before I fill a tank, so I'll know what to expect. Curios, what the sale price?
$800 is the asking price.

The hours sound awful low? Does it have an hour meter on it? I put one on mine when I first got it. It is handy to know for oil changes. Mine is about 3 years old and only had to do normal maintenance so far. Sounds like a decent price for it if it doesn't have a lot of hours on it. Changing the oil on regular schedule is very important. Also are there any extra parts like repair gaskets, extra fittings, and filters included? They came with them when new. does it have an extra moisture filter on the the discharge side. All these this add to the value. Should also have at least one fill hose. Good luck. I don't do Face Book so sorry if I covered info in the ad.

No extra extra moisture filter, extra parts are included, break in service has not been done as of yet.
Which moisture filter do you recommend?

Not sure of the name but I bought it from Joe Broncota at (Air Tanks For Sale). I am very pleased with it after almost 3 years. It doesn't release the air until the pressure gets to about 2000psi then it releases. I has a moisture remover in it besides the tampon filter. I would also recommend you getting an hour meter from ebay. No wires required as it works off vibration. I would also recommend using the Air Venturi compressor oil. I've seen several people complain. about these units over the years but mine has been rock solid. I would also recommend Joe Brancota's stuff. It is kind of pricey but very good quality an 4500psi is nothing to play with. Be careful with cheap filters and brass fittings on Amazon and ebay. Don't use stuff designed for paintball. I only use stainless steel made in USA fittings.

If it is actually that low in hours and it'll pass the test that I mentioned it's probably a pretty good deal. That test depends too on how long it has been setting. They don't like to set long. I haven't used mine in a few months and it wouldn't pass my test yesterday so now I'm troubleshooting it.

Thanks for all your advice, I decided to get a Nomad 3, since I will not be filling large tanks at this time.
Jking it has been sitting a couple of months in his basement, and decided against diving an hour to do the testing.
