Looks like I'll be getting an Air Venturi Avenger, wood stock in .22 with a $179 swat scope.

The .22 caliber was to tempting. I checked web sites for clubs in NY and there were none. Besides that, if there were a club, it looks like .22 would be allowed. So .22 it is.
98% of the time I'll be plinking/targeting in the back yard or at the local range. I'm not going out of my way for grey squirrels but if I have a volunteer then why not. Woods are loaded with them.
UGT (leapers?) 3x12 44 scope to go on top.
Looking forward to some leasure time sending some pellets down range

Congratulations on your new purchase I currently own 2 avenger bullpups a .22 and a.25 , 1 .25 cal wood that has been modified and a new avenge x in .22 . I absolutely love the platform. Here is what my .25 wood avenger looks like now!
