Looks like I'm gonna join you target shooters!

I'm a hunter/pester plain and simple growing up on our dairy always had plenty of pests that needed taking care of. But I've always wanted a dedicated target gun for practicing and sharpening my skills when Id like to just relax in my back yard and not shoot my .25s or .22s. So I just ordered an AA 200T. I've been wanting one for a very long time. Love the looks and adjustable from 6fpe to over 12fpe is very nice for me. I plan on setting it up at 12fpe and throwing on my SWFA 12x42 scope with a TKO for nice and quiet when shooting targets. Then the plan is to practice shooting the 25meter targets with it and possibly try shooting out to 50yds. I've tuned one gun to 12fpe for another member and enjoyed testing out to 45yds for groups that I've wanted my own for awhile. Now I'm making it happen! Once I get it dialed in and in tune with it will also be a pester for sparrows that like to come into the garden and eat our tomatoes which is 25 yds from the kitchen window that slides open nicely. Never been so excited to start punching paper!

Target shooting is a great sport. Glad you're taking it up. I always thought the 200T would be good target gun. You can get the targets from the Airgun Bench Rest web site. Here's the link. https://www.usairriflebenchrest.com/

It can also be really helpful to go to some matches. One can pick up all sorts of tips and also encouragement at matches. Where are you located?

Good deal!
.177 and 12fpe ( or so ) is SO much fun and an education. "I" think you will find a full 50-55 yards yery do-able in a very short amount of time and these lower powered .177 pellet shooters teach doping well.

Love the CZ/AA should have gotten a red one from CZ USA when they closed out early this year.

Looking forward to some 50 yard groups.

DB,

IMO you picked a good one!

Ive had my 200T for several years now and it is a very nice and reliable little rifle, not to mention that it's a tack driver for sure. My favorite reactive targets at 25 meters is aspirin tablets.

I added a HUMA external type regulator and adjusted the hammer spring and choke screw for 11.5 FPE or so. I also added an LDC for very quiet backyard shooting.

I really love iron sights but my 200T often wears a SWFA 10x42 scope.

things I like:

#1: accurate! The CZ barrel is very accurate-- better then I can shoot.

#2 reliability. I've have yet to experience the first leak or mechanical failure.

#3. Adjustability. You can set up this rifle for a wide variety of power levels and shooting disciplines.

Enjoy your 200T!

I'm very excited for it!

@chasdicapua thanks for the target link! As for where I'm located is Eastern Washington but more in the middle of the state. Don't think there are any matches around.

@spysir I'm excited to start practicing at 12 fpe. Will be a new experience as most my guns have been in the 30+ fpe ranges. I really wanted a CZ but seems those are next to impossible to find except out of country. But ill be happy with the AA for sure!

@John_In_Ma I will definitely be shooting with it off and on just to see. Mainly will be used Sunday mornings when the wife is asleep and don't want to wake her up lol. Definitely excited for the new learning curve.

@mcdonama Glad to hear you love yours! Also very happy to hear it's very reliable. It sounds to be a very solid little gun and very few problems if any that I've found. Definitely excited to see the accuracy. I've had 2 airguns in .22 with CZ barrels that have been very accurate. So I'm ready to see how one in .177 is. Should be getting it by Monday I believe.
