That should work. Might be a little soft. Sporting pattern can run up to 12 ft lb. The original are .134 counterwound dual springs.Yes, a side lever button. I found a .120 wire spring from an old TR Rob kit that came with my HW77 years ago. I shortened it to the same 32 coils that the original .132 wire was.

Karl impressive machines I will look thru my old lathe & mill tooling and send you some endmills, and lathe HSS, blanks and lathe carb cutter inserts. Remind bro I lots of tooling the govt paid for and I have no machines. Randy
