Lots of big fat rats shot with my HW100T and Pard008 LRF

I haven't been back at this permission for about a year now. The rats population came back in full force. Lots of rats were roaming the area and I was busy sending the Hades downrange thru my HW100T with the Pard008 LRF night vision.

It was a fun shooting night and with the rats collected, I was able to use them as bait for my Coyote #6 hunt.

@Max115 Good show per usual! It’s amazing how you thread those shots between such narrow gaps. #14 was my favorite shot. That’s my kind of dirt nap for vermin. Which magnification setting are you using?

@Ezana4CE. Thanks. These gaps between the concrete slabs ranges from 3/4" to 3". Some of the shots were taken at fairy tight gaps especially from the tripod standing position. The standing shooting position at close range makes it more challenging as I was shooting downward unless I move back to 30 to 40 yards. I was shooting from 11-25 yards.

@AmosBurton. Thank you. yeah I missed a couple of shots hitting the concrete slabs. I probably could walked up to the gap and do point blank shots, lol.

@Max115 Which magnification setting are you using on the Pard 008?

@Ezana4CE. I used the factory's lowest zoom at 6.5x. I don't zoom in as the picture gets pixelated. I use two external 850nm IR lights. I keep the internal IR off.

Man what a great video looks like an absolute total blast I'd love to come. If I could make it up to Canada I'd like to do some shooting with you. If you ever get a chance try to go down to Florida and do some iguana hunting that's fun too.

Do you use IR 850 or 940?

@Seeker. I use the IR850 because my Pard 008LRF uses IR850 light source. I have tried the 940nm before but the recorded footage wasn't as clear from that of 850nm.
