When they assemble the gun you must be very careful when installing the two halves of the action because if you don’t get it aligned just right then this is the result, they need a better way to seal the action.

My old Huntsman Regal .22 cal without a moderator had a bark to it. Definitely need moderator for stealth mode.I have an unregulated .177 Revere that is easily the loudest air gun I own. Even with a moderator it is still not hearing safe. Has anyone else ever experienced this? the power level is also lower than it should be, only making 15 ft lbs with a 13.4 pellet. Any ideas ?

Thanks for the advice guys. AirRanger I think I was pretty careful matching the two halves up and my 20 shot string afterwards is showing good (see results below) and will likely get a better test at our Tuesday field target meet. Silent Squirrel thanks for the tip on 90 duro - wanna trade for some 70s, only have a hundred of them@AirRanger hit the nail on the head.
If using a 70 DURO Oring at the transfer port and it slips loose, try a 90 DURO.
It made all the difference in the world on my FAC 22 Revere
Also, I've found that holding the O ring in place with heavy weight (the thickness of Vaseline) silicone grease will aid in assembly.
Just my tuppence
