Benjamin Low and Behold!

Guessing it's from the AoA Pre-Owned section that last night anyway, had more than a few very nice rifles in it. Someone sold some rifles to them after I saw a Bam B26, R1 .20, R8 .177, several TX's in very custom stocks, some pistols and a UK built Webley Tomahawk Venom among others.
Sometimes being left handed is a good thing. All of the rifles were right handed even though that Tomahawk made me look twice right handed or not.

I looked 3 times myself, then flinched a little over the $780 plus shipping...lol. Was already gone when I wandered back for a 4th look along with several others.

This thread got me thinking about pump guns again. I currently do not have one so I checked out the AOA used gun section again.
They still had a Crosman 140 in very good shape and at a decent price. Yes I took the plunge and it is now on its way. I can't wait to try it out.
There is a sweet old Benjamin Walnut stocked 317 still left. Looks to be a dandy. Been eye balling this old girl to. Someone save me!

Gun came yesterday. Besides a couple dings in the Walnut it is as new condition. Steamed them out perfectly. There is an extra thick and probably to large felt pad on the cocking arm and it holds the handle a bit ajar. I will probably reduce it. Did a function test and it’s running smooth. Gun is a 2008. I really like the knurled bolt and being a lefty it makes it very handy. Pulls back smooth and easy. The trigger is perfect. Didn’t gauge it but under two pounds. No creep. I will do a chronograph and accuracy test next. Will update. I’m confident it’s a shooter. I don’t think anyone would make this custom investment without being impressed with it overall. I find the pumping very pleasant and solid. This might just fulfill all my pumper needs. Key word, “might”.

Update:
CPHP 14.3 grain Velocities; 1 shot only
2 pumps- 415 fps
3 pumps- 495 fps
5 pumps- 606 fps
8 pumps- 708 fps

Good for you Bear(y) I wondered if you were a Michigan boy. I grew up and still live in N MI. Fishing the Manistee river is still my foremost passion. I read you were from here while searching for info on how to remove Hatsan QE shroud. I was going to PM you but I guess I can't or don't know how. I've read/researched a lot on various forums but often feel I have little to add, as such I don't post much. I plan to start posting in the "what did you shoot today" because I shoot pretty much every day. (so far this morning HW95, HAT95 spring and HAT87) Anyway congrats on the new toy. Maybe I will shoot you a PM when I get it figured out.

Wow, talk about coincidence! I'm reading this thread and one of my dogs barks to let me know someone is at the door. I look outside and see a long box next to the door.
Its the Crosman 140 pump rifle I ordered from AOA. UPS just dropped it off. I removed it from the box and looks to be in much better condition than I expected. A little bit of blemish on the blueing and the wood is perfect. It's a .22. Feels solid and we'll made. All metal and wood.
I made sure the chamber was empty then pumped it 3 times to make sure it holds air. It worked fine. Felt like a very tight seal.
I shot it about 12 times, just a quick function check going from 3 to 7 pumps. The rifle worked great. Feels like it holds pressure very well.
When I get a chance I will do some more shooting with it.
