Hi all.
I need your advice on oiling my HW75. The manual suggests 1-2 drops of lubricant on the pump's shaft to reduce friction with the compression chamber's wall.
What type of lubricant should I use?
Oil? (I happen to have Crosman Pellgun oil, which is petroleum based).
Or grease? My local Weihrauch dealer suggested any high-temperature tolerant grease (in liquid form), but I am so confused....I read in various fora about silicon grease, PTFE based, ceramic grease, molebdenum based,...the list is endless.
Then I emailed the official Weihrauch support asking for advice and they suggested "a good quality oil" (not grease).
Any suggestions/experience please?
Best Regards,
Vasilis
