At 40fpe in 22Cal I would feel comfortable with Skunk, Pigeon, Black Birbs, Opossums, and maybe Racoons. This assumes good accuracy and correct shot placement. You might try some Nielsen 17.5g slugs as well. I took care of a +5lbs skunk at about the same power level in my old Wildcat and it didnt even spray. Plugged twice in the chest and neither slug made it out the other side.

I use that pellet in my P35-22 but only have them going 825 fps or less, in cold weather. Works great on squirrels but the one raccoon I killed with it took three shots. The brain shot put it down but it was still breathing so it got another. You have more power but I'd still rather have the bigger hole of a 25, even at equivalent fpe. The one raccoon I've taken with my P35-25 tuned to nearly 50 fpe was one shot (to the brain) and it was over. But if you really need to shoot something bigger up to 10 lbs or so, it should get it done, possibly with multiple shots.
