M3 in 357 moderator suggestions

I have an M3 in 357 with the 700mm tensioned slug barrel and tungsten hammer. I will be shooting the 68gr hybrids.

I called FX and spoke with the tech and contrary to what I read on here they said absolutely no increase in sound due to tension barrel install.


I was considering going with the ronin but have also looked at the emperor but am concerned about the weight.
Any other suggestions on a moderator, the quieter the better.

I own both the Ronin and the Emperor and while the Emperor is more quiet it is heavy and on non tensioned barrels it will droop.

my tensioned barrel on my 700 mm 25 impact made it significantly louder . That being said I would probably opt for the largest volume ldc.

That is simply impossible because the shroud volume is not used to tame the blast in the case of a tensioned barrel system. They can't deny the laws of physics.

I recommend Ronin in .30 but I have no experience in .35 so it is hard to say if it is good enough for such a monster.

I have the same build that you have except I have the 800mm barrel and shooting ProSlugs 80g and 109g solid slugs. I have the Emperor on mine which seems to work the best for me (my opinion) I use the Saber Tactical Standard Top Rail Support and the Delrin Bushing for TRS Clamp also from Saber Tactical to help support the barrel. I got the gun in yesterday and with just a ronin it’s pretty quiet even with a 700 mm barrel.

That is good to know that Ronin can handle 9mm. What energy does your gun generate?
