M3 mag not rotating/loading.

I know you guys will have come across this problem however, can someone guide me towards an answer as to how to make my brand new M3 mag work, please.
take lid off rotate the wheel counterclockwise until it stops insert one slug or pellet then fill the rest of the mag replace clear cover

if mag is not rotating loosen the screw in the middle just a little bit

Thx guys, I do load the spring up by rotating, load slugs and insert into gun.

Push handle forward and fire slug number one, all good !

Pull handle back and then push forward, NO slug goes into breach, I watch and from the back the cassette does not rotate to the second slug.

The magazine does not bind, moves smoothly when in hand and poking slugs out manually, I can't see anything that hits on nor binds the mag when inserted ?

Neil.

Try it with the mag half full. If it cycles then we know it’s the overall weight of ammo in a full mag is overcoming the spring tension.

Oh, and since no one mentioned it I will- do not leave your mags out for the sun to beat down on. Plastic is plastic and it’ll contort eventually. Same goes for aftermarket 3D printed mags.

If you do add more spring tension, keep an eye though on how concentric the ammo loads in AS THE MAG EMPTIES OUT. With less ammo the spring tension may overcome the ammo weight and shove the ammo tight against one side of the out port hole of the mag, and if using a pellet probe, your ammo could be getting inserted cock eyed tilted into the breech.

You’ll see the results on your target. If accuracy is good with a full mag and right about when there’s 10 rounds left your accuracy changes, this is the reason why.

For this reason alone is why I favor an actual pellet probe vs a pin probe

The weight is a limit, but also the exit hole edges.
I have two .25 plastic mags and one can rotate a full load with 35gn pellets only, the other one works flawless up to 41gn slugs only, but anything heavier then 37gn I am using the eaglevisioncam aluminum mag, this is rotating well up to 44gn slugs, 46 gn a half mag only.
Now back to plastic mags... last year or before we had some conversation about a mag hack, some people built up a corner beside the exit hole, myself I applied a slick tape. The problem was and still is with pellets = the skirts are not uniform same diameter (35gn MK1s vs MK2s for example) and when the pellet probe is pushing it through the hole the head catches the edge of the hole - with a tape applied less chance the head to tilt. Same could happen even with slugs but to a lesser decree.

Thx all !! I spent a few hours on the workbench, loading and pushing out slugs from the mag.
What is/was happening is that, mag would rotate a few times and then stop.
It didn't seem to matter if mag was half or fully loaded.
I dismantled one mag and discovered the poor quality manufacture, barbs/edges on plastic, metal balls (spring loaded) not holding back cover up and off slug carrier.
I have cleaned up poor quality issues, put more load into all three springs and mucked about with retightening/torquing the stud/nut etc and applied some light oil (a little).
Testing so far has been good, lets hope it's fixed.
I have ordered a USA made "Stud" mag, they seem to understand that the FX mag is rubbish.

Thx for all your advice.

I've got the Stud magazine and the speed loader kit for my .25 cal. MK 3 and I love it. I've never had any problems at all with it and I shoot almost every day on my own range here at my home....:)
