M3 trigger screw

Any idea what the rear grub screw does on the trigger assembly. Not sure if mine hangs down more then normal. Gets in the way of rear regulator adjustment.

Should it hang down this low when adjusted properly? Perhaps it could be shortened.

If it functions as it should I wouldn't worry about it. If it works and bothers you can probably swap it out for a shorter one or cut it down.
