FX M3 tuning help

I have an M3 with a 700mm barrel in .22cal which I am trying to tune to shoot 27gr slugs at or around 950fps.I have installed a Huma pin probe huma light hammer and the power spring set.Set up is macro wheel at 16 micro at or near 5 reg 1st 135 2nd 110 valve at line 5.My question is it is shooting at around 940fps on power wheel 16 but shoots the same speed on power wheel 1. I would expect to see a significant drop in power between the two settings. what am I doing wrong ?

26 grain slugs with all stock internals.......991 fps.
Second reg at 108, hammer micro at 4.
You are wayyyyyyy over hammered.
Here’s something interesting that could start a whole new conversation. My compact 500mm .22 slugger is set at 142b and my micro is at just under 3.5. Your slug is a little heavier and your barrel longer but your reg is light years lower. But you need more hammer.

What others have said. I will say it a million and first time. People please familiarize yourself with your new impact and its capabilities straight out of the box before diving headfirst into all the power bullpoop everyone is convinced they need. No idea why this makes me mad as they aren’t my guns but it doe’s every time I read it.

Don't do that to me! Lol. It's shooting real good now. Don't make me want to experiment.

I blame Matt dubber and South African guys. They pushing their guns to the limit and hitting small birds 200 yards away. People see that on youtube and want to do the same. Lol

The first thing you need to do is take all that Huma stuff out and put your stock components back in. Your 700mm M3 will shoot those slugs as fast as they will ever need to go in its sleep bone stock. You added some components that really mess with the ease of tuning the gun and the advice that can be given.
Yes this right here, 27gr is not heavy at all, a stock setup would push these 1000fps
If u need more a slightly heavier hammer and a lighter valve spring, but the heavy hammer spring is more for pushing 40gr slugs at 1000fps and up
With a lighter slug u will get some serious vibration and will be more "violent" causing accuracy issues as well with all u have in there right now.....

Isn’t it crazy what barrel length and a couple more grains can influence? If you’re happy, please don’t touch it. I just kinda did a double take when you said waaay over hammered and I saw your micro vs your reg setting. I’m not a 700mm guy so I find what they can do and how they do it interesting.

Right back at you. This is good advice. Especially the last part about making your gun harmonically angry. No matter how you do it. If you can send a slug on low settings that meets your standards, it’s very easy to shoot the gun well. My most wicked Impact is a 610mm. It took a solid barrel 610mm long in .25 to give me a gun that I the shooter can shoot it as good as it’s capable of. It was too light when wearing a weightless FX barrel when driving it pretty hard.

I can tell you I purchased my M3 with a 22 call 600 mm barrel and it shot 26 grain pellets at around 915. Switching to a 25 cal, 700 mm barrel it shot 34 grain pellets at around 915 with the same settings.

Thanks guy’s for your advice.I have removed all the slug power kit except the pin probe.I have started to retune and as of now I have the 2nd reg at 110 bar macro at 16 and micro about 4.75 .The 27gr H&N is shooting at about 940.My idea is to get it to shoot as efficiently as possible with the highest possible shot count and lowest 2nd reg pressure at this point I am happy with the results. Thanks again.
