Can't stand how they grab the pellets when chambering a round when they're dry. Curious if I'm the only one who just cuts em off and throws em away.

What rifle? With some, you can't just cut them off because they hold the pellets in the mag.

a little lubrication works wonders,,, experience is such a good teacher
ya ever try and cut up an old tire with a razor knife? a little WD40 makes it go a LOT smoother,,, as rubber likes to grab hold of metal
remember when you inflated a football/basketball, ya licked the needle to get to go in easier
and a little silicone oil on your magazine's o-ring,,, what about your breech or probe o-rings, ya cut them off also,
