Magazines don't fit in the FX Impact

Update on the two new fx impact mags that didnt fit:
AOA adjusted the gun to allow the new thicker magazines to fit, but when I got home to try them out one of them didnt work at all. I mean the magazine now slides into the gun but the pellet probe won't load a pellet into the barrel. I can't push the side lever forward even after jiggling it around and moving the magazine back and forth. The other new magazine does chamber pellets but sometimes the pellet probe gets hung up on something and i have to jiggle things around and then eventually it will chamber. Also, I still need to somehow enlarge the 5 or so pellet compartments in the magazines so that the pellets will drop in without getting stuck. Just need to find time to go back to AOA and have them work on the mags again....

Holy poope! That truly sucks. I hope you get things worked out mate.

Has anyone inquired with fx and AOA as to the origin of this particular "batch" of mags? Are they even fx mags? It's not like fx puts a logo or identification of any kind on any of the mag's I've seen. Sounds to me there's some issues with manufacturing tolerances within the mag's themselves......and/or the distance tolerance between breach face/barrel on the impact platform itself. Someone should stop by aoa with a proper caliper and take a measurement on 5-10 of these mags to see what's going on. Those impact owners on this forum who can use/read a caliper could upload the breach/barrel slot for the mag on their particular gun and we can and gather up some decent numbers to make an educated guess as to what exactly is going on here. I'm not an expert on the impact, but simple measurements across a wide range of mag's and guns can give us a crystal clear picture as to the culprit.

I had problems with all the extra mini mags I bought for my .22 Streamline. The ones I got was just too thick. I like FX & have bought several of their rifles, but It amazes me that they can't make a replacement mag that will work out of the box. Instead of coming out with new rifle models they really need to do some quality control or reengineer their mag production. I will say I never had a problem with my old FX Royale & my Wildcat.
