Going to get the 600mm .22 barrel kit for her, I'm thinking of keeping the .30 kit too. I saw a video of a barrel kit swap done in about 2 minutes. If I get a good tune on both barrels, it would be good to have both ends of the energy scale for small game at hand.

Yes, barrel change is that quick! Max out the reg at 150 and you can change caliber with only hammer spring setting change. It can be that simple.

Since your gun comes with 30 cal barrel, you should have heavy hammer weight. I wouldn’t go under 140 bars at second reg regardless, 150-160 is it’s comfort range with heavy hammer weight.

The Maverick arrived today, beautiful gun! The rear reg is set for 158 bar, Geith Gibson shows the ideal .30 tune at 170 front and 150 rear for the regs. I got a very good round of shots at 158 but I do think I am going to degass and set it to 170-150 and use the power wheel to fine tune from their.

I am working on getting the parts for a .25 barrel change, I'm almost there but I wish FX would just sell all the parts cafeteria style so I could get a used liner and piece the rest together without redundancy.

Ok yeah you might need a slightly higher reg pressure then. With pellets I don’t think you would need 150. Even with the slugs I would start with the reg lower maybe 125-130 and work up if needed.

I'm trying to get a dope chart on the .22, .25 and .30 across all the ammo I am likely to use.

If you have a known tune for the .25 for JSB 33.9gr pellets, a .22 tune for CPHP's, I would appreciate it.
